How It Works

White Coat Commons is built to make joining and using the space straightforward. Here's exactly what to expect from first inquiry to first patient visit.

The Process

 Step 1: Reach Out

Call, text, email, or book a tour directly through the website. We'll get back to you within one business day to schedule a visit.

 Step 2: Tour the Space

Complimentary in-person tours take about 30 minutes - enough time to walk the space, meet the founder, and discuss whether White Coat Commons is the right fit for your practice. Bring questions specific to your workflow, schedule, and patient needs.

Step 3: Choose How You'll Engage with WCC

We'll talk through which option(s) fit your stage and goals:

  • Affiliate Membership for clinicians in the build-up phase who want professional affiliation while growing their caseload
  • Space-Use Bookings for active in-person clinical work, available by the block or recurring schedule
  • Consulting Services for providers who want strategic advisory on business development, vendor strategy, or program development
  • Any combination that fits the rhythm of your practice

 Step 4: Complete Required Documentation

Once you've chosen your membership option, we'll send the appropriate agreement(s) and documentation requirements.  Everything is reviewed before access is granted - for your protection and ours.

 Step 5: Set Up Payment

Membership fees and space-use bookings are billed through secure automated payment.  First month's membership and/or first booking payment is collected at sign-up.

 Step 6: On-boarding and Access

Once your documentation is complete and payment is set up, you'll receive your access credentials, an orientation to the space, and a welcome to the White Coat Commons community.

 Step 7: Start Practicing

Reserve space through our booking platform, walk in to a ready room, and focus on what matters most -  your patients.

How Space Booking Works

What's Required Before Patient Care

Who Can Use White Coat Commons

White Coat Commons provides the space - your practice manages everything else.

You reserve the space through our booking platform. Members reserve exam rooms, the private office, and provider workspace online. You select what you need, confirm, and pay - and your access code is issued for that booking window.

You manage your patients through your own practice. Patient appointments, scheduling, intake, records, and communications all stay within your own practice management system, EMR, or scheduling tool. Patient information never enters the WCC platform - protecting both your patients' privacy and your professional independence.

This separation keeps your practice fully yours. WCC handles the room; you handle the care.

Who Can Use White Coat Commons

White Coat Commons is built for licensed independent healthcare clinicians practicing in Arizona. We welcome a wide variety of specialties - primary care, behavioral health, nursing, therapy, specialty consultations, telehealth providers needing occasional in-person access, and more.

If you're unsure whether your practice is a fit, reach out and let's talk. If we're not the right space for you, we'll be honest about that and point you toward a resource that may be a better fit.

What's Required Before Patient Care

To protect patients, providers, and the integrity of the space, the following must be completed before any patients are seen at White Coat Commons:

  • Signed space-use agreement with all terms acknowledged
  • Current Certificate of Insurance (COI) showing active professional liability/malpractice coverage with adequate limits, listing White Coat Commons appropriately as required
  • Verification of active Arizona license in your scope of practice
  • NPI number on file
  • Completed payment setup with first booking paid in full

No exceptions. These requirements exist to protect every clinician who uses this space and the patients they serve.
